The repairs are necessary for the Sima Creek and Wolf Creek bridges, and are weather-dependent.
A section of the Copper Haul Road in Whitehorse will be closed for two days next week to allow for repair work on two bridges. The closure, which will take place from 9 am to 3 pm on February 4 and 5, will affect the section of road south of Mount Sima.
The repairs are necessary for the Sima Creek and Wolf Creek bridges, and are weather-dependent. The City of Whitehorse will provide schedule updates as necessary.
Recreation users are advised to obey signage and use alternative routes in the area during the closure. The City thanks the public for its understanding as it works to complete these safety upgrades.
