Many traffic changes and events will be occurring around Main Street.
The City of Whitehorse has announced changes to municipal services on Yukoner Appreciation Day which will be occurring on Friday, November 2nd.
The following parking and traffic changes include free parking on Main Street from 9am to 9pm, closure of Third Avenue closures between Steel Street and Main Street, and accessible designated parking spots which will be available near the intersection of Third Avenue and Main Street.
The closure will commence at 7pm the night before the event and will finish Friday, November 2nd at 9:30 pm.
Events will also be occurring on Friday, with live music, entertainment and goodies available at the intersection of 3rd and Main also.
