Police are asking witness to contact the Whitehorse detachment.
Yukon RCMP is investigating a collision involving one of its vehicles and a cyclist in downtown Whitehorse.
In a media release on Tuesday, police say that the collision occurred around 11 a.m. at the intersection of Fourth Avenue and Main Street in Whitehorse, involving a cyclist and an RCMP SUV. EMS responded to the scene and transported the cyclist to the hospital for treatment. No further details on the cyclist’s condition are currently available.
Yukon RCMP Traffic Services also responded to the collision and are conducting an investigation. According to the release, investigators already have video footage, but encourage anyone who saw the collision to contact them at 867-667-5555.
