Multi-year framework to outline a more connected and accessible health care system.
The Government of Yukon has released its Connected Health Strategy to modernize and better connect health care systems across the territory.
In a media release, the Yukon government says that the multi-year framework outlines a more connected, accessible, and people-centred health care system and reflects input from health care providers, Yukon First Nations, patients, Yukon Hospitals, and the Yukon Medical Association.
According to the release, the strategy’s four key goals are to enable a connected health care system, increase Yukoners’ access to health information and services, support health care providers, and strengthen electronic health infrastructure.
In the release, the Yukon government says that the strategy will guide future work to improve how health information is shared across care settings and reduce administrative burden for health care providers.
