Mounties send two cruisers, and the RCMP plane into action to get 2009 dodge Ram back.
The RCMP say they expended several resources, in its recovery of a stolen pickup truck.
Police say in the early morning hours of December 28th, a 2009 Dodge Ram was reported to have been stolen from the Copper Ridge area of Whitehorse.
Several attempts were unsuccessful to stop the truck Thursday. On Friday, after spotting the truck in Lobird, Mounties dispatched two RCMP cruisers from Carcross and Whitehorse and a police plane from Watson Lake.
A spike belt was deployed on the Atlin Road, where the truck was stopped and two males arrested. A 16-year-old male driver and an 18-year old male passenger are facing several charges. Both individuals have since been released.
