According to the Yukon Bureau of Statistics, the Whitehorse area population has increased by over 6000 people in the past decade.

Between March of 2018 and 2019, the territory's population increased from 40119 people to 40962 people — an increase of over two percent.
Between March of 2009 and 2019, Whitehorse's population increased by over 6000 people, Dawson City's population increased by over 400 people and Watson Lake's population decreased by almost 100 people.
In terms of growth in particular Whitehorse neighborhoods from March 2018 to March 2019, Whistle Bend's population grew by 239 people, Copper Ridge's population grew by around a hundred people , and the Porter Creek/ Kulan Neighborhoods grew by almost 70 people.
According to the report, Yukon's population declined steadily from 1999 to 2001 before growing at a steady rate to it's current populations from 2004 onwards.
