Conservation Officers report the kills after bears raid domestic livestock.
Yukon Conservation Officers say two black bears were killed in separate incidents over the May long weekend.
On Friday, a bear that had killed a domestic goat on a Hidden Valley Property was shot.
On Monday a bear raided a chicken coop in Mount. Lorne and was shot by the resident of the property.
C-O's say in both cases the bears posed an immediate risk to public safety.
Electric fencing was not used to deter predators from attacking domestic animals on either property.
Authorities are reminding the public to eliminate bear attractants, as food sources are scarce since the end of hibernation.
