40 year-old woman found dead, after being ejected from truck.
Yukon's Coroner says a 40-year-old woman was killed last Wednesday, following a vehicle crash near Faro.
Police say a white Ford F350 truck went down an embankment along the Robert Campbell Highway, heading towards Carmacks.
The woman, originally from Inuvik, NWT was located deceased near the vehicle.
It is believed that speed resulted in her being ejected from the vehicle upon impact.
Initial reports suggest that alcohol may have also been a factor in this incident.
Authorities continue to investigate the fatality.
The name of the deceased was not released.
