Manitoba RCMP Officers says they believe that two bodies found along the shoreline of the Nelson River in Manitoba are that of two British Columbia fugitives.

Manitoba RCMP Officers says they believe that two bodies found along the shoreline of the Nelson River in Manitoba are believed to be that of 19-year-old Kam Mcleod and 18-year-old Bryer Schmegelsky.

The two men were wanted on Canada-wide warrants for second-degree murder in relations to the death of a  man whose body was found along the Cassiar Highway on July 19th.

The teens were also considered suspects in the shooting deaths of 24-year-old American Chynna Deese and her 23-year-old Ausralian boyfriend Lucas Fowler. Their bodies were discovered in July along the Alaskan highway near the Liard Hot Springs.

Officers say the two men's bodies were located approximately eight kilometers from where a burnt vehicle was located, as well as close to some items that were believed to have belonged to the individuals.

Police have been on a manhunt searching for the two men across Canada over the past two weeks.
