The new case is number 77 for the territory.
Yukon’s Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Brendan Hanley has confirmed one new case of COVID-19 in the territory.
Case 77 is an adult in rural Yukon, associated with travel within Canada. They are self-isolating and recovering at home. Contact tracing is ongoing.
Along with the case announcement comes an exposure notice.
You may have been exposed to COVID-19 if you were at Andrea’s Restaurant, Alaska Hwy Truckers Pub and Grill in Watson Lake on Friday April 9 between 6 and 11am.
If you were at the restaurant and are experiencing symptoms, you should self-isolate and arrange to get tested.
