The Indigenous Connectivity Summit has announced that their next community forum will be held at the Midnight Sun Recreation Complex in Inuvik, Northwest Territories this year on October 10-11.
The two-day summit is meant to help connect and create improved internet access for First Nations Communities throughout North America and shed light on how social and economic development can be spurred locally by the internet.
The two-day event will consist of panels, presentations and discussions by community network managers and operators, community members, researchers and policy leaders.
The first Indigenous Connectivity Summit was held last year in Santa Fe, California.
