Whitehorse RCMP are continuing efforts to locate 42-year-old Graham Everitt, who was last seen in Whitehorse on September 25th, 2018.
A number of tips regarding Mr. Everitt's potential whereabouts were provided to police over the past few weeks. Investigators have followed up on all information, and have pursued leads in a number of areas within the Yukon, Northern British Columbia, and other jurisdictions. Despite these efforts, Mr. Everitt has not yet been located.
In early October, a backpack belonging to Mr. Everitt was found near the riverbank in downtown Whitehorse and was turned in to police.
Extensive ground searches have since been conducted of the riverbank, including a search by Yukon RCMP Police Dog Service. On October 24th, 2018, two RCMP officers were deployed via helicopter to search the Yukon River and its shoreline for approximately three hours.
IMPORTANT: Friends and family have indicated that Mr. Everitt is much thinner than he appears in the photo previously provided to the public. Unfortunately, a more recent photo is not available.
Anyone with any information on where Mr. Everitt could be is asked to contact Whitehorse RCMP at 867-667-5555. You can also provide information through Crime Stoppers at www.crimestoppersyukon.ca or by phone at 1-800-222-8477.
