Minister of Community Services John Streicker
"The Village of Carmacks has been disappointed with the myriad of project delays. That said, we appreciate the Yukon government’s continued efforts and commitment to keep this project moving forward in order to assist in making Carmacks a better place to live and play, especially for our younger citizens." Mayor of Carmacks Lee Bodie
The Statement of Claim was filed in Yukon Supreme Court. The Government of Yukon is claiming $10 million in damages against the contractor and $7.3 million under the performance bond for the project.
