Yukon's Chief Medical Officer of Health has approved the Canada Games Centre's phased re-opening plan.
A gradual re-opening of the facility will occur in June, although no specific date has yet been determined. More information will be available next week.
The areas to open first will be the track, fitness centre and Flexi-Hall (hard surfaces). These areas will be available for use by patrons.
Fitness classes will also resume in the first phase, including some held outdoors. A re-opening plan for day camps is still being developed. The pool and ice surfaces will not be opening until a future phase.
The Canada Games Centre has been closed since March 18th. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we take these extra precautions to provide the safest environment possible for all who visit and work at our facility. We can't wait to see your faces back at the CGC!
