The Assembly of First Nations, Yukon Region is holding the first Annual Yukon Regional Leadership Awards on Thursday November 14th at the Kwanlin Dunn Cultural Centre. The awards are about a ‘Yukon that Leads’ and are open to Yukon First Nation citizens and Indigenous people who call the Yukon home.
The Assembly of First Nations, Yukon Region is holding the first Annual Yukon Regional Leadership Awards on Thursday November 14th at the Kwanlin Dunn Cultural Centre. Nominations can be submitted by individuals, organizations or other groups; online or in person, but they close today Friday November 1st, 2019
The awards are about a ‘Yukon that Leads’ and are open to Yukon First Nation citizens and Indigenous people who call the Yukon home.
Awards will be presented for the following categories:
- Emerging Leader Award (Male and Female Recipients),
- Woman in Leadership Award,
- Climate Leader Award,
- Language Warrior Award,
- and the Lifetime Achievement Award.
“These awards are for those people in our community who work so hard, everyday!”, said Regional Chief Kluane Adamek.
