Since 2012, the initiative has raised over $3 million, with $1.9 million invested in projects supporting student attendance.
Every Student, Every Day, a Yukon-based charity, has announced a $300,000 funding commitment for the Attendance Initiative Fund for the 2026-27 school year, in partnership with the Government of Yukon. The fund supports community-led projects aimed at improving student attendance and engagement across the territory.
Since 2012, the initiative has raised over $3 million, with $1.9 million invested in projects supporting student attendance. The latest commitment brings the total funding to over $2.8 million.
According to a media release, President of Every Student, Every Day Society Yukon, Tara Christie, said, “This investment will support practical, community-led solutions that help remove barriers and strengthen attendance."
Applications are now open until March 27, 2026, for educators, school administrators, Yukon First Nations, and community groups.
