RCMP say there are no public safety concerns.
The Yukon RCMP are investigating a sudden death in Whitehorse.
A news release emailed to CHONFM from Staff Sergeant Kent Langley on Saturday July 31 reads, “on July 30, 2021, at approximately 11:42 pm, Whitehorse RCMP responded to a report of a 27-year-old female in medical distress in the downtown area. The female was later pronounced deceased.”
“Whitehorse RCMP, the M Division Major Crimes Unit, Forensic Identification Services and the Yukon Coroner’s Service continue to investigate. There are no public safety concerns at this time. “
The RCMP say that no further information is available at this time.
