Do you know an exceptional volunteer who has made a difference in Whitehorse, because the City of Whitehorse is now accepting nominations for the Volunteer of the Year award.
The award recognizes an outstanding individual who has made a significant contribution to an organization or to the community as a whole.
The deadline to submit a nomination is Wednesday, March 31.
Nominees will be recognized between April 19 and 23. One individual will be selected as the City’s Volunteer of the Year.
The City has been celebrating and publicly acknowledging outstanding volunteers since 1987.
