Klondike Visitors Association Grants for 2019-20 include a total of nine not-for-profit organizations sharing almost $20,000 dollars.
Klondike Visitors Association (KVA) is thrilled to announce the recipients of the 2019-20 KVA Grants. Nearly $20,000 will be split between nine non-profit groups in Dawson City as part of this process. Applicants were required to be based in Dawson City, and to propose projects that will benefit the quality of life of the community.
Brian Stethem, Chair of KVA Board of Directors said in a statement, "Healthy non-profits make Dawson City a better place to live and to visit. KVA Grants helps non-profits accomplish their goals and make our community a better place for everyone".
Paul Robataile, Marketing and Events Manager at the Klondike Visitor's Association in Dawson City says it's all about community partnerships. Strong and healthy not-for-profit organizations in the community makes it much easier to promote Dawson City as a tourism destination.

- Dawson City Minor Hockey Association: Pee Wee Hockey Tournament
- Humane Society Dawson: Spay & Neuter Incentive Program
- Klondike Active Transport and Trails Society: Winter Events Series 2019/2020
- Klondike Institute of Arts and Culture: Youth Art Enrichment
- Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in: Moosehide Gathering
- (S)hiver Winter Arts Society: New Sound System
- Yukon Order of Pioneers & Horticultural Board: Discovery Day Events
