Dawson City Ice Bridge Construction now Underway

Highways and Public Works Minister Richard Mostyn says crews are experiencing difficulties.

The creation of the ice bridge on the Yukon River at Dawson City is posing challenges for crews performing the work. Work began earlier this week, and involves spraying ice onto the open portion of the river to induce ice formation. But Highways and Public Works Minister Richard Mostyn says there are some unexpected conditions causing difficulty. Minister Mostyn spoke to reporter Dan Jones about the bridge.
