The results came in last night.
The Champagne and Aishihik First Nations council election results are now in.
Out of 900 eligible voters, First Nations Chief Steve Smith has been acclaimed, while Elder Councillor Mundy Joe was also elected last night.
For council, Barbara Joe was elected with 248 votes, Steve Allen was elected with 170 votes, Rose Kushniruk was elected with 197 votes, and Marie McLaren was elected with 173 votes.
The Champagne and Aishihik First Nations council-elects will serve a four-year-long term ending in October 22nd, 2018.
