BC man charged with first degree murder of local man.
On July 2, 2017, investigators from Yukon RCMP's Major Crime Unit charged a British Columbia man with murder in Whitehorse.
Edward James Penner, 20 years old, is facing a first degree murder charge in connection to the death of 25-year-old Adam Cormack, whose body was found in Whitehorse on June 28th.
Mr. Penner appeared in Whitehorse territorial court at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 2. He has been remanded into custody. His next court appearance is scheduled for Wednesday, July 5.
