A Whitehorse man is facing attempted murder charges following an alleged incident early Tuesday morning in Granger. He is 20-year-old Jonah Vern Papequash.
Whitehorse RCMP say they received a report of a man having been stabbed during the early morning hours that day in Granger.
The victim received emergency medical care for his injuries. The evening of June 17th the suspect was arrested by Whitehorse RCMP, and has been charged with Attempted Murder and Failure to Comply with a Probation Order.
Papequash made his first appearance in Whitehorse Territorial Court Thursday afternoon and was remanded into custody.
