The Whitehorse 2026 Arctic Winter Games Host Society has released the full schedule for the upcoming Games, set to take place from March 8-15, 2026.
The schedule features sport and venue details, as well as a comprehensive broadcast plan, marking a significant milestone for the event.
According to organizers, nearly all competitions will be available to stream live and on demand for free, with multi-camera productions for key events like the Opening Ceremony and Alpine Skiing. The public can attend all competitions and ceremonies at no cost, making the Games accessible to everyone.
"The release of the full schedule is an exciting milestone for our communities, athletes, and volunteers," said Tracey Bilsky, President of the Whitehorse 2026 Arctic Winter Games Host Society.
According to a media release Thursday evening, the Host Society has also completed contingency planning, relocating services from Yukon University to ensure participant safety and operational continuity. The Games will bring together nearly 2,000 athletes and cultural participants from eight contingents across the Circumpolar North.
