NVD‑Host Society partnership powers 2026 Arctic Winter Games countdown and community giveaway

As part of the agreement, NVD and the Arctic Winter Games Host Society are launching a 30‑day giveaway blitz to count down to the Games

The Whitehorse 2026 Arctic Winter Games Host Society, on Wednesday morning, announced a partnership with Northern Vision Development at the Hyatt Place Whitehorse.

The collaboration will support the upcoming Games, which will host more than 2,000 athletes, coaches, and cultural delegates from across the circumpolar north. NVD will provide office space, meeting rooms, and day‑to‑day support for the host society and will serve as a primary lodging partner for officials, media, and visitors.

As part of the agreement, NVD and the Arctic Winter Games Host Society are launching a 30‑day giveaway blitz to count down to the Games, featuring local businesses and prizes, including a two‑night stay at the Hyatt Place.

Host Society president Tracy Bilski said corporate support goes beyond funding—it’s about people and groups investing in the community and northern youth. She praised Northern Vision Development for being there from the start, providing office space, meeting rooms, and day‑to‑day assistance that enabled the host society to deliver the Games.

NVD CEO Michael Hale said NVD’s 22-year presence in Whitehorse has been about building the community and supporting youth, making the Arctic Winter Games a natural and cathartic partnership that allows the company to showcase its values and continue its long-standing commitment to the region.

The Arctic Winter Games will run in Whitehorse from March 8 to March 15, 2026.
