All three charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possess a loaded prohibited firearm, and possession of property obtained by crime.
Yukon RCMP Crime Reduction Unit officers arrested a B.C. man in Whitehorse last week.
According to an RCMP media release, 48-year-old Christopher Munch was arrested without incident on February 27. Following his arrest, police searched the vehicle and discovered what they believe to be cocaine and methamphetamine, money, a prohibited firearm, and other items known to be used in illegal drug trafficking.
Two Watson Lake residents, 37-year-old Robert Suffesick and 45-year-old Nadine Handel, were in the same vehicle and arrested. All three were charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possess a loaded prohibited firearm, and possession of property obtained by crime.
Munch was also charged with two counts of fail to comply with a release order.
Suffesick and Handel appeared in court on February 28, and were released on conditions. Munch was held in custody, and is set to appear in court in Whitehorse on March 5.
