The Yukon government is expanding counselling services in various territorial communities starting in September.
The new counselling model will be run completely by the government's Mental Wellness and Substance Use Services (MWSU) branch in the communities and will be run in conjunction with two non-government organizations in Whitehorse.
Yukon government says the expanded services will mean patients can more easily access family, grief, relationship and marriage counselling services across the territory.
All Genders Yukon and the Canadian Mental Health Association - Yukon Division will be the two organizations helping with the expanded counselling service expansions in Whitehorse.
