FASD Plan to focus on awareness, prevention and providing support for those with FASD.
An interagency advisory committee and the territorial government are leading a community and First Nations engagement campaign over the next two months looking for input into a Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder plan, focusing on awareness, prevention and providing support for those with FASD.
The interagency advisory committee has already identified five areas, that being: FASD education and training; FASD prevention; information gathering monitoring and evaluation; diagnosis and assessment; and support to individuals with FASD and their families.
The engagement period ends June 30th.
