VGFN Councilor Dana Tyzia-Tramm says it was disappointing to watch the vote.
Leadership from the Vuntut Gwich'in First Nation were recently in Washington DC to witness voting and passing of a budget bill which would allow oil and gas development in Alaska's Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, the calving grounds of the Porcupine Caribou Herd. VGFN Councillor Dana Tyzia-Tramm was at the Capitol and says it was very disappointing to see people who have never traveled to ANWR voting endanger it.
