The unidentified 25-year-old man was from BC
The RCMP say the victim of a Wednesday evening shooting in Porter Creek has died.
The victim was a 25-year-old man from BC. Inspector Keith MacKinnon says police need the public's help in identifying a red pick-up truck seen leaving where the shooting took place at the intersection of Wann Road and the Alaska Highway.
McKinnon could not provide a description of the suspect. He is appealing to the public for any help. This is Yukon's 7th homicide in 2017 and sixth in Whitehorse.
