There will be an information session for evacuees at 7pm this evening at the Watson Lake Recreation Centre.
According to Breagha Fraser, Fire and Public Information Officer, fire crews are continuing to suppress hot spots in the area, including removing trees that are identified as unsafe.
ATCO Electric has also restored power to most of the community and efforts are also being made to repair damaged firelines.
Fraser also has confirmed with CHON News than an information session is planned today at 7 at the Watson Lake Recreation Centre for Lower Post Evacuees regarding what to expect when re-entering the community.
The Yukon Wildland Fire Management will make recommendations to Emergency Measures BC in the coming days regarding the evacuation order that is still in affect for Lower Post.
