Pjila'si - The 10th North American Indigenous Games are hosted in Kjipuktuk (Halifax), Dartmouth, by the Millbrook First Nation, Sipekne’katik, from JULY 15 – 23, 2023
The North American Indigenous Games are featuring competitions in 16 sports within 21 venues across Kjipuktuk (Halifax), Dartmouth, Millbrook First Nation and Sipekne'katik.
More than 5,000 athletes, coaches and team staff from 756+ Indigenous Nations will celebrate, share and reconnect through sport and culture with the help of 3,000 volunteers at these 10th North American Indigenous Games (NAIG 2023)

The Yukon Territory Indigenous Team is composed of more than 130 athletes, cultural performers, coaches and support staff who represent eight different Yukon First Nation communities. Yukon indigenous athletes will compete in 11 of 16 sports, including 3D archery and canoe/kayak.
Swimmer Kassua Dreyer of the Ross River Dena Council will be leading the Indigenous Team Yukon into the opening ceremony as the official flag bearer. Kassua Dreyer earned six medals in the pool at the 2017 North American Indigenous Games in Toronto.
Kassua Dreyer trains and competes with the University of Calgary Dinos.
