27-year-old man from Carmacks arrested Thursday.
A 27-year-old man was arrested today in connection to the June 19th death of 57-year-old Wilfred "Dickie" Charlie.
Mr. Charlie was last seen near his home in the Carmacks area on Monday, June 19th. His body was found in the Yukon River near Fort Selkirk on July 5th, 2017.
The Yukon RCMP Major Crime Unit has been investigating Mr. Charlie's death as a homicide.
On Thursday, September 28th, around 11:30 a.m., a 27-year-old man from Carmacks was arrested in Whitehorse in connection to this investigation.
He is currently in custody.
