Parents had observed suspicious behaviour by an adult who was in a position of authority over several Whitehorse youths. And RCMP in Beaver Creek is seeking help from the public to resolve an incident in Beaver Creek.
RCMP are reporting that a Whitehorse man has been charged with five counts of assault after a police investigation into multiple reported incidents.
The investigation began in February 2020 after RCMP received reports from concerned parents. These parents had observed suspicious behaviour by an adult who was in a position of authority over several Whitehorse youths. Police have completed their investigation, and as a result have charged Geoff Muldoon, age 43, of Whitehorse.
Mr. Muldoon was arrested on September 18, 2020, and was released on conditions, including a condition of no contact with the victims. He will appear in court on October 28, 2020.
And RCMP in Beaver Creek is seeking help from the public to resolve an incident in Beaver Creek.
On September 27, 2020, Beaver Creek RCMP were contacted by a person indicating his cabin had been shot at while he was away. An officer attended and identified approximately 13 bullet holes on one wall of the cabin; the bullets had pierced through the log walls and into the cabin.
The cabin is located near Beaver Creek and this incident would have occurred in the two weeks prior to September 27.
