With restrictions being lifted Friday afternoon on places of worship, most could've welcomed parishioners over the weekend... many did not though because they were not prepared with social distancing and other covid-19 rules.
Christ Church Cathedral on 4th avenue and Elliot st. will start welcoming parishioners in person on June 21st which happens to be National Indigenous Peoples Day and Father's Day. Reverend Chestnutt says the church will be thoroughly cleaned and no communal wine or collection basket will be passed around.
Reverend Chestnutt says there are usally between 40 and 60 people who show up for services.
