A Whitehorse company will build a 47-unit mixed-income housing project in the Capital City worth just under $16.9 million.
Wildstone Construction of Whitehorse was the successful bidder.
There were 3 other bidders on the project including one other local firm.
The proposed housing project in the South end of the city's downtown is using an empty lot at the corner of 4th Avenue and Jeckell Street.
The four-story building includes all site services including hard and soft landscaping.
Construction will begin soon is scheduled to be completed by November of 2021.
The Yukon Government tendered the contract.
