The Three Bears is a collaboration between artists Donald Watt and Jeanine Baker
The trio standing together at the north end of Shipyards Park in Whitehorse is the result of a contest Donald Watt and Jeanine Baker won several years ago that was delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Watt is a sculptural artist and Baker typically works with glass.
The two-sided bears are meant to display on one side a nature scene that compliments the natural landscape as traffic drives by, while the other side, seen from the walking path shows culture, diversity and more human themes, Watt explains.
