Person posing as an agent in immigration program
Local businesses are being advised to be wary of a person claiming to be the exclusive agent of a Yukon Business Investor Visa Program, and is offering incorrect information about the Nominee Program.
The government confirms that it doesn't run a program named the Yukon Business Investor Program, it does not faciliate access to foreign investment nor does it work with a single agent on immigration programs.
While there is no indication that any Yukon business has been affected, businesses who receive such a fraudulent call is urged to contact Yukon Immigration.
