Today, RCMP Superintendent Scott Steward announced that Everett Chief, 44, of Good Hope Lake B.C. was being charged with two counts of 2nd degree murder, as part of the investigation into the tragic deaths of Sarah MacIntosh and Wendy Carlick, April 19, 2017.

Today, in the matter of murder charges applied against Everett Mark Chief, 44, of Good Hope Lake was moved to June 15.
A no-contact list of 24 witnesses was applied to the accused.
Family members of the victims turned vocal and angry, when the matter was moved to another date. A habit that won't likely cease in the continuing case.
Shortly after the court appearance, one charge of 2nd degree murder was upgraded to 1st degree.
