Yukon's Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Brendan Hanley has confirmed a new case of COVID-19 in Whitehorse.
The new case is number 82 for the Yukon and is positive for the B.1.1.7 variant. The infectrion is travel-related and linked to an outbreak in another jurisdiction.
The individual is recovering at home.
The new case dose not come with any public exposures notices.
Anyone experiencing symptoms in Whitehorse should arrange to get tested.
There is currently one active case in the territory.
