Whitehorse Rcmp and the Yukons Chief Coroners office are not releasing the name of a deceased person found in the Yukon River near the Whitehorse Dam yesterday morning around 0930.
A news release says a positive identification was made of a 56-year-old female. Mounties are working closely with the Yukon Coroner's Service in this investigation. They say An autopsy is scheduled for June 11th in Abbotsford.
No further information will be released at this time.
