Three people were arrested in Whitehorse last Wednesday, March 4th, by the Yukon RCMP's Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
In the resulting search, police seized, an amount of suspected heroin; drug paraphernalia; cash.
Michael Bland, 39, Lacey Bailey, 28, and Erin Borgford, 27, are charged with Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the Purpose of Trafficking under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
Mr. Bland is further charged with Failing to Comply with Conditions of a Recognizance.
Two individuals appeared in court and were released on conditions. Ms. Bailey and Ms. Borgford will next appear in court on March 25th. Mr. Bland was held in custody and will next appear in court the afternoon of March 12th.
