The Salvation Army has operated their Adult Resource Centre in Whitehorse since 1987.
However, due to mounting challenges, including the deteriorating infrastructure of a 75-year-old building, the organization has made the difficult decision to cease operation of this facility effective April 30, 2020.
As this program comes to a close, The Salvation Army is assessing the needs in our community to see where they can best be of service in other ways.
Local Salvation Army leadership is working diligently to evaluate the needs in Whitehorse to ensure that we can continue to bring hope and dignity to individuals in need and be a transforming influence for the future of the community.
