Matthew Pete says in Dec 2015, an RCMP assaulted him by causing bruising to his upper body.
A Daylu Dena Council man is suing the RCMP alleging a Watson Lake Mountie assaulted him, while he was in police custody.
Matthew Pete claims that on Dec. 1, 2015 Constable Brad Kelly entered his cell, following a police interview and assaulted by grabbing his upper body area, causing bruising to his chest and arms.
Pete asserts that the incident was not recorded or documented. None of the allegations have been proven in court. Pete is seeking unspecified damages.
