Free the Beat Foundation decided to provide an overview of the Declaration of Human Rights at City Council Monday, Dec 3rd.
In city hall last night, a spectacle was made of the only delegate to present, as he accused city hall of violating his human rights.

In other municipal matters, city hall is proposing a donation of $15,000 in cash and about $5,000 in-kind to Aboriginal Peoples Television Network's production of Indigenous Day Live to be co-hosted in Shipyards Park.
The live broadcast event is proposed to take place on Saturday June 22nd, simultaneously with Winnipeg's celebration and will feature the top names in First Nation's talent.
Acting Manager of Parks and Community Development, Landon Kulych gives an overview of the council donation budget being $72,000 or so, and that $50,000 of it was earmarked for the National Aboriginal Hockey Tournament being held in Whitehorse in 2019.
The administrations recommendation was to go ahead with the donation.
