The Champagne and Aishihik First Nations will be conducting a special general assembly in just under three weeks to discuss language and economic development. The First Nations have been operating an immersion program, and now Chief Steve Smith says during the February 9-11 meetings he will be seeking community support for the program. Chief Smith spoke to reporter Dan Jones about the GA.
