The woman wanted her fallopian tubes removed, but got pregnant twice following operation.
A BC woman is suing a Yukon doctor claiming he preformed a surgery to remove her fallopian tubes, yet she was able to get pregnant twice after the procedure.
The suit filed in Yukon Supreme Court in December by Jeannena Gallinger alleges that Dr. Wayne MacNicol didn't remove her fallopian tubes.
The surgery was performed in March 2014, but Gallinger became pregnant and gave birth in 2016. The suit claims that Galinger is expecting another child in March.
Gallinger is also suing an individual named in the suit as John Doe for improper follow up, following her first pregnancy.
Gallinger is suing for various damages and legal costs.
The allegations have yet to be proven in court.
