The Extreme Outreach Society is a non-profit organization that brings hope and inspires dreams with unique programs and services for under-privileged kids and families. Cliff Power is the Executive Director and founder of Extreme Outreach Society and he was in Whitehorse with friends helping promote the Yukon "Warm a Soul" program, which aims to ensure every child receives a stocking at Christmas.
COVID-19 Update, September 30, 2020
Minister of community Services John Streicker alongside Chief medical Officer of Health Dr. Brendan Hanley reported at today's COVID-19 update that as of September 30th, the COVID-19 case count for Yukon remains at 15. Everyone has recovered. We have tested 3,402 people.
Yukon Legislative Assembly to Begin 2020 Fall Sitting
Legislative Assembly procedures will be adjusted to address COVID-19 health concerns. The public gallery will be open with limited seating available on a first come first serve basis.
United Way Yukon Provides Funding to Community Service Organizations
About 2,700 individuals and families in the Yukon are benefitting from the Government of Canada’s Emergency Community Support Fund, provided through Employment and Social Development Canada.
