The Extreme Outreach Society is a non-profit organization that brings hope and inspires dreams with unique programs and services for under-privileged kids and families. Cliff Power is the Executive Director and founder of Extreme Outreach Society and he was in Whitehorse with friends helping promote the Yukon "Warm a Soul" program, which aims to ensure every child receives a stocking at Christmas.

Mobile networks, Wireless and long distance services completely failed for several hours on Saturday, July 12th evening and during the night.
Preliminary Plan for 2020-21 School Year Released
All students in Rural schools will return to full-day in-class instruction five days per week. In Whitehorse, Kindergarten to Grade 9 students will also return to full-day, in-class instruction. Grades 10 to 12 students will return to half-day in-class instruction and half-day learning away from school.
