Lyndsay Amato is a born and raised Yukoner and a member of the Carcross Tagish First Nation and "Ishkahitaan Clan".
Lyndsay is the host of “Recycled Radio and The Saturday Night Request Show”
Her love of radio was sparked during her long drives home from Golden Horn to Carcross every day to attend school. Every day after school she would turn on CHON-FM to listen to her favourite radio show, The Cutting Edge.
It wasn't long after that Lyndsay began making her own radio shows as a young girl on her cassette deck.
It was many years ago when a teenaged Lyndsay sent in her resume to NNBY and throughout her life she has continued to foster a love for music and radio.
She has many years of experience at CHON-FM, including programming, production and on-air hosting.
