New COVID-19 Case in Whitehorse
First locally-acquired case in the Yukon is a Whitehorse resident which has tested positive for COVID-19 on August 7th.

The in-season counts from Eagle Sonar, located in Alaska near the Yukon border, indicate that it is highly unlikely that the lower end of the Chinook spawning escapement goal (42,500 to 55,000) will be met this year.
Privacy Commissioner Provides COVID Alert App Information
The information sheet, which can be found on the Information and Privacy Commission website notes that privacy commissioners from across Canada were involved in reviewing any privacy risks associated with the app during its development. They found the risks to be very low.
